About
Adam is a Canadian writer and teacher, living in Warsaw, Poland. Once upon a time, he worked as a scholar of History, specializing in the Roman Army, having earned a PhD in that subject. Now, he teaches History, English Literature, Media Studies, and Creative Writing at a private high school. He also holds an ALM in Creative Writing & Literature from Harvard University.
After drifting away from academia, Adam has written prolifically and is constantly exploring new themes, genres and ideas. It’s incredibly hard work, but he finds the creative process to be a type of 'flow state' and pursues it as often as he can. Sometimes, instead of writing, he paints, in pursuit of the same effect. Outside of creativity, he skis and sails for pleasure.
